Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
We are looking for a passionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team! While under supervision and training of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), the RBT will provide 1:1 direct ABA therapy to children with autism in a clinic setting. The RBT will implement individualized programs to each client, collect data daily and efficiently, assist the client as needed, and maintain a clean environment for our staff and clients.

Education, Training, and Experience:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- RBT Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s in Psychology, Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field.
- A minimum of 1-year experience in working with children with autism, preferably in a clinical setting
Knowledge of:
- Appropriate behavioral intervention strategies
- Learning theories and instructional methods
- Ethics, laws, and regulations of acceptable behavior interventions
- Developmental processes of children
- Interpersonal skills needed to manage crisis situations
- Correct English grammar, punctuation, and spelling
Skills and Abilities:
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to crawl, kneel, sit, stand, or squat for an extended period of time
- Assess situations and make proper judgments
- Understand behavioral situations and react accordingly in an ethical manner
- Objectively analyze crisis situations and respond quickly to emergency situations
- Perform general clerical duties including maintaining accurate client records and preparing clear and concise session notes
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of parents/caregivers and other staff
- Use a computer and behavioral software to prepare documents and maintain client records
- Work independently and manage time effectively while working on multiple tasks at once
- Follow guidance and accept constructive feedback from BCBA to enhance own professional development
- Work with a diverse team of professionals in a respectful manner
Job Duties:
- Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy
- Run skill acquisition programs with clients using ABA methods
- Work with BCBA to implement individualized treatment plans
- Collect data and graph data as instructed using technological programs
- Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by the BCBA
- Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
- Maintain respect and confidentiality for all clients
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending mandatory trainings and meetings
- Maintain and protect the well-being of all clients during treatment sessions and when emergency crisis situations arise
