American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Oncology travel assignment in Billings, MT, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and an active MT or compact RN license.

Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week (36 hours per week)

Medical Oncology unit in an acute care hospital setting

Epic EMR used for charting
-
Floating to other departments may be required based on business need
-
On-call during regularly scheduled shifts may be required
-
Active MT or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted

Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
-
Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Oncology RN experience required

Current BLS certification (AHA) required and must not expire prior to assignment start
-
ACLS, NRP, or PALS as appropriate for unit
-
Epic EMR experience required

DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Performs independent nursing and delegated medical functions in accordance with state Board of Nursing practice standards

Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, health teaching, and counseling

Documents patient care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
-
Reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans, and refers patients as needed for further evaluation

Former permanent Intermountain employees must have been separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
