Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including industrial and commercial environments. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities using electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and low-voltage system installations in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring layouts and system configurations.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
- Ensure all work adheres to electrical safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and compliance with NEC (National Electrical Code).
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial electrical systems, and commercial electrical systems.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction site experience to perform wiring tasks efficiently while maintaining high safety standards.
- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation or new build projects, including frame carpentry and schematic reading for seamless integration of electrical components.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a strong background in industrial and commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Skilled in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems, reading blueprints/schematics, and working with high-voltage wiring.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, high voltage systems, low voltage wiring, and industrial electrical systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment safely and effectively.
- Construction site experience including renovation projects or new installations in commercial or industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures and adherence to all safety protocols on-site.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently.

Pay: $24.96 - $33.67 per hour
