Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Expo to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that food is presented beautifully and served efficiently during events. This position requires a strong background in food service and hospitality, with a focus on customer satisfaction and food safety.
Duties
- Prepare and set up food stations for events, ensuring all items are displayed attractively.
- Assist in the preparation of food items, including cooking, cutting, and plating as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and serving areas throughout the event.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high-quality food presentation.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and accommodating special requests.
- Monitor food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
- Buss tables and assist in clearing dishes to maintain a tidy dining environment.
- Support banquet operations by assisting with serving food and beverages as required.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
- Experience in banquet service or hotel environments is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is essential.
- Culinary experience or formal training in hospitality is an advantage.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
