Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas within our establishment. This position is essential to ensuring a pleasant and welcoming environment for our guests, contributing to their overall experience during their stay.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies.
- Replenish linens, towels, toiletries, and guest amenities as needed.
- Ensure all assigned rooms are completed within the designated time frame and respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, and elevator landings.
- Report any maintenance issues, damages, missing items or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
- Follow established procedures for cleaning and sanitizing according to hotel standards as well as all Hilton cleanliness and safety protocols.
Skills / Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cleaning, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Flexible availability (weekends and holidays required).
