Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Perform routine maintenance service and repairs as needed in the following areas: plumbing, carpentry, flooring, painting, plastering, electrical
- Assist with grounds work to maintain property ‘curb appeal’
- Troubleshoot and pro-actively maintain the property on an on-going basis
- Effectively communicates with co-workers, guests and vendors, working with minimal supervision
- Maintain company policy and work practices of ‘Safety First’ by adhering to OSHA guidelines including safe chemical handling
- Maintain equipment in guest laundry room and property laundry room
- May be asked to respond to calls placed after hours
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on guest rooms and building equipment, repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and fixtures, performing preventative maintenance services on systems and equipment, assisting with any other maintenance needs at the building as needed
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
- May be required to perform “heavy lifting” (50 pounds and above) from time to time.
- May be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in situations when exposed to dust, dirt and/or chemicals.
- Some machinery may expose the employee to loud noises (shop machinery).
- Must be able to walk and be on one’s feet for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to climb ladders, bend, crawl, reach and lift.
- Must be able to use all the senses (sight, smell, hearing, taste and touch)
- Requires outdoor work in heat, cold, wet and dry conditions.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
