As an independent contractor operating under a 1099 arrangement, you’ll have the flexibility to choose your schedule while delivering exceptional cleaning services for short-term rental properties. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitation of rental properties between guest stays, including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Implement cleaning procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to ensure surfaces are sanitized and hygienic.
- Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Clean floors using appropriate techniques such as vacuuming, mopping, or carpet cleaning to maintain a pristine appearance.
- Dust surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and vents to eliminate dust buildup and improve air quality.
- Manage manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently.
- Communicate professionally with clients regarding service completion and address any special requests or concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management.
- Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as vacuums, steam cleaners, carpet extractors, and floor care tools.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures aligned with health standards.
- Ability to handle cleaning detergents safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols.
- Strong time management skills to complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes.
- Physical capability for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and extended periods of standing or walking.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs and expectations.
