The Communications Coordinator will be responsible for answering phones, responding to emails, and providing guests with information about the various programs, services, and initiatives at Hawaii Island Humane Society. Preferred qualifications include:
- Exceptional phone etiquette and experience handling heavy traffic on multiple lines
- Ability to meet and greet visitors in an upbeat professional manner
- Capability to multi-task and maintain professionalism and patience within a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a team as well as independently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Interest in the humane treatment of animals
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
