Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part time Presser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This position is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality service in the hospitality and dry cleaning sectors.
Duties
- Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments.
- Clean and prepare fabrics for pressing, ensuring proper handling of delicate materials.
- Inspect garments for stains or damages before processing.
- Launder items as necessary, following specific care instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns regarding garment care.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain workflow efficiency.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dry cleaning or hospitality environment is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Basic math skills.
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in garment presentation.
