Our hospital provides comprehensive small animal veterinary care while also managing many urgent care-type illnesses and injuries before referral when appropriate. You'll gain experience with a wide variety of medical and surgical cases while practicing low-stress handling techniques that keep both patients and staff safe.
What You'll Do
Assist veterinarians with medical appointments and treatments
Perform laboratory sample collection and diagnostic testing
Obtain radiographs
Monitor anesthesia and assist with surgery as your skills develop
Provide compassionate nursing care for hospitalized patients
Educate pet owners on treatments and preventive care
Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional patient care
Schedule
Four 10-hour shifts each week
Rotating weekends (approximately one weekend shift per month)
