SUMMARY
The Site Superintendent is responsible for on-site construction supervision, ensuring safe, timely and quality delivery of work activities in alignment with Vertiv standards, project specifications and regulatory requirements.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide daily on-site supervision of all construction activities and subcontractor operations
- Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, Risk Assessment Method Statement RAMS and project specifications
- Conduct daily site briefings and coordinate work sequencing with trades
- Monitor site productivity, safety compliance and quality workmanship
- Coordinate with Site H&S Coordinator to enforce safety protocols and close out observations
- Maintain on-site records including permits to work, inspections, deliveries and progress logs
- Identify and escalate risks, delays or deviations impacting cost, quality or schedule
- Support the Site and Program Manager in managing site interfaces, logistics and client interactions
- Verify installed works for compliance and support punch-list creation and close-out
- Coordinate change-related impacts with Project Controls and Estimating/QS teams
- Resolve and maintain punch/snag lists

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- 100% site based with variable working hours
Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain site access permits

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years on-site supervision experience in construction or industrial projects
- Strong working knowledge of construction methods, drawings and safety regulations
Strong leadership, communication and coordination skills

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Trade qualification or degree in Construction/Engineering preferred
- Competency in MS Office and construction reporting tools
Certification in safety or site management desirable

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Site based with exposure to active construction environment; PPE required; variable hours including weekends/after hours as needed.
