Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Restaurant Shift Leader aged 21 and over to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate restaurant staff during shifts, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality service
- Lead food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining consistency and adherence to safety standards
- Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems and cash handling
- Train new staff members on food handling, customer service, safety procedures, and restaurant policies
- Monitor food production and kitchen activities to ensure timely delivery of orders in a quick service or casual dining environment
- Skills
- Extensive experience in food preparation, cooking, and food safety management
- Proficiency with POS systems
- Strong background in restaurant management, including supervising teams and managing hospitality operations
- Excellent communication skills for managerial conversations, staff training, and customer interactions
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly
- Knowledge of inventory control practices, food handling procedures, and profit & loss analysis
- Proven leadership in managing hospitality teams within casual dining or fast food settings
- Experience with food industry standards such as catering, banquet service, or bar operations is a plus
- Skilled in training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and service quality
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, food production workflows, and food safety regulations
