At Badger Rental Service, we help home owners and construction pros save time and money renting equipment that helps them get things done! This is a full time position with benefits and 5 hours of overtime guaranteed every week.
JOB DUTIES:
- Minor and Major equipment repair
- Maintenance checks
- Cleaning of equipment
- Demonstrate proper equipment usage to customers
- Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate safety procedures are followed
- Perform other duties as requested
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
- Basic knowledge of construction equipment
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of tools applicable to position
- Desire to learn
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Most work will be in the shop or out in the yard, but occasionally on a job site. Frequent exposure to changing temperatures, adverse weather conditions, noise, dust and moving parts.
EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma / GED is preferred but not required
- Valid Driver's License is required
- Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs.
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Equipment rental industry experience preferred
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job demands a certain level of physical requirements in order to safely perform the job functions. Employee will be required to:
- Have full range of motion to include climbing, twisting, squatting and lifting.
- Be able to climb onto or off construction equipment and trailers
- Periodically lift or carry loads greater than 50lbs.
- Use a multitude of tools including hand tools, pneumatic and heavy equipment.
