We are a rapidly growing Class 1 medical device company looking to add to our sales team in the Richmond, Virigina area.
Summary
We are seeking a Radiation Protection Consultant (RPC) to join our growing medical device sales team in providing education to healthcare professionals, selling our EggNest products and coordinating customer installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve Area Sales Revenue Goals on a quarterly/annual basis. Establish relationships with a variety of healthcare personnel and hospitals. Research and cold call on new accounts. Provide exceptional ongoing customer training and support.
- Possess a strong understanding of Egg Medical products to be able to sell, market and take the lead on evaluations and customer presentations.
- Coordinate with Customer Success Team on installations and post-installation customer follow-ups.
- Deliver constant professional education on the harmful side effects of scatter radiation and how to prevent occupational related illnesses and injuries with the use of our EggNest products.
- RPCs should be willing and able to coach and help newer employees develop, grow in product/procedural knowledge, build relationships with healthcare professionals and accurately document customer interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Internship or at least 1 year prior work experience in sales, healthcare, medical device or customer service.
- High level of motivation, resilience and willingness to learn technical product details and selling skills.
- Professionalism and comfort working in clinical environments, including hospital cath labs and imaging suites.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with customers.
- Technical aptitude and ability to use Microsoft Office products, Salesforce and other internal computer systems.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks and follow through with external and internal customers.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 75% of the time via car within the territory and travel via plane or other means inside and outside of assigned territory for training and customer visits.
- Ability to obtain and maintain hospital/vendor credentials; including, but not limited to: drug screening, national criminal background check, education and employment verification, required vaccinations and health screenings required to safely work in hospital settings.
- Ability to spend significant time in hospitals, procedural rooms and clinical environments where physical requirements may vary and protective equipment is required. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, business or related fields.
- Familiarity with healthcare systems, processes, interventional procedures or medical terminology.
Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time, direct hire position with a starting base pay of $70,000-$85,000 dependent on experience, plus commissions paid quarterly.
- Eligible for commissions and stock options after 90 days of employment.
- Company laptop provided.
- Mileage and expense reimbursement provided bi-weekly.
- Insurance available on the 1st of the month following date of hire, including: health, dental and vision insurance, plus pre-tax or Roth 401k available after 30 days.
- PTO accrues starting at 15 days, plus 12 company paid holidays.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
