Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Warehouse Logistics Manager to provide logistics support in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD), Navy, and Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) standards. The ideal candidate will have recent experience in military logistics, medical supply chain operations, and federal compliance programs. This position requires a SECRET security clearance and strong knowledge of Navy logistics systems, processes, and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt, storage, distribution, and accountability of medical supplies and equipment.
- Oversee compliance with DoD and Navy logistics regulations, including NAVSUP P-485, COMNAVSURFPAC/COMNAVSURFLANT instructions, and applicable safety standards (NAVOSH).
- Coordinate with the Defense Health Agency (DHA), FDA, DLA, and Naval Medical Readiness Logistics Command (NMRLC) to ensure compliance with SLEP, SERP, MPVP, and related programs.
- Support the Navy Pharmaceuticals Reverse Distribution Program, ensuring compliance with requirements and proper documentation.
- Maintain accurate records using Navy logistics information systems such as SNAP, SAMS, TMIP-M, WEBFLIS, OTS, and DAAS.
- Implement and monitor requirements from AMLC Medical Material Quality Control (MMQC) messages and DLA disposition processes.
- Ensure the safe handling, distribution, and disposal of Chemical, Biological, Radiological (CBR) medical supplies.
- Provide logistics reporting, documentation, and analysis to leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain compliance with Navy Occupational Safety and Health (NAVOSH) and other regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Security Clearance: Secret (must be active at the time of award).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience (recent = within 3 years unless noted):
- FSC 65XX OR Repair Parts Petty Officer (RPPO) in Medical Field
- Navy logistics procedures and MILSTRIP requisitioning.
- DHA/FDA Shelf-Life Extension Program (SLEP) and LogiCole.
- DoD Pharmaceuticals Reverse Distribution Program.
- NMRLC Shipboard Equipment Replacement Program (SERP).
- DLA Medical Prime Vendor Program (MPVP), ECAT, and Troop Support Medical.
- Systems: SNAP, SAMS, TMIP-M, WEBFLIS, OTS, DAAS.
- Navy Supply Procedures (NAVSUP P-485), COMNAVSURFPAC/COMNAVSURFLANT Joint Instructions 6000.1 & 4400.1B.
- NAVOSH Program (OPNAVINST 5100.23).
- Coordination with Theater Lead Agent for Medical Materiel – Pacific (TLAMM-P).
- Medical Support Equipment (MSE) Program and AMLC MMQC requirements.
- Have recent experience with Chemical Biological Radiation (CBR) medical supplies procedures.
Preferred Experience
- Strong background in government logistics support management.
- Ability to take initiative and operate independently.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate across Navy, DoD, and DLA agencies.
- Experience ensuring compliance with complex regulatory and safety frameworks.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
