Responsibilities
- Manage daily spa operations, including scheduling appointments, overseeing staff, and ensuring smooth workflow.
- Lead and motivate a team of estheticians and spa professionals to deliver top-tier skincare, facials, body waxing, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, dermabrasion, and other aesthetic treatments.
- Ensure all services are performed in accordance with safety protocols, sanitation standards, and state regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable treatments or retail products such as skincare lines or makeup applications.
- Oversee retail sales efforts by promoting skincare products and aesthetic treatments to enhance client results and increase revenue.
- Maintain detailed records of client treatments, preferences, and progress to personalize future services.
- Conduct staff training on new treatments, sales techniques, sanitation procedures, and customer communication to foster a knowledgeable and professional team environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing a med spa or similar aesthetic facility with knowledge of skincare, spa services, esthetic laser treatments, waxing services (including body waxing), facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and makeup application.
- Strong understanding of sanitation protocols and safety standards within an aesthetic setting.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients and team members.
- Demonstrated sales ability with experience in retail sales of skincare products or aesthetic treatments.
- Certification or licensing in cosmetology or esthetician specialties preferred; additional certifications in laser treatments or advanced skin therapies are a plus.
- Ability to lead a team with enthusiasm while maintaining high standards of professionalism and client care.
