SIGN-ON BONUS: UP TO $200!
Newly hired eligible employees can earn a $50 sign-on bonus after completing 30 consecutive days of employment and an additional $150 sign-on bonus after completing 120 days of employment and working a minimum of 48 complete shifts during that period. Employee must be actively employed and in good standing at the time of payment. Bonus payments are taxable income and are paid on the paycheck generated for the following pay cycle.

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Direct Service Workers to join our team. We have openings for Part-Time, and Full-Time DSW's as well as Part-time & Full-Time Floaters. This vital role involves providing personalized care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, aging adults, and those requiring specialized care. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through attentive caregiving, assistance with daily activities, and fostering a safe environment.
Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor patients’ health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition, report changes to healthcare professionals.
- Provide medication administration following prescribed protocols while maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation.
- Support clients in engaging with community activities and social interactions to promote independence and well-being.
- Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning common areas and client spaces.
- Document care activities accurately in care plans and ensure adherence to safety standards in all caregiving tasks.
Qualifications
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, or home & community care environments is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and medication administration is essential.
- Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks associated with patient handling.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of resident information.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, or memory impairments is desirable.
- Engage clients in social activities that promote emotional well-being and cognitive stimulation.
- Familiarity with first aid and CPR techniques is essential; certification is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to caregiving are necessary for success in this role. Weekly Hrs. & Positions
- Part-Time & Full-Time positions open @ $9-$12 hr.
- Part-Time & Full-Time Floater positions open for day, evening, night, & weekend only (Friday- Monday morning 8AM) @ $18 hr. (Does not have a set schedule. Accepts assignments as needed within the regional service area and fills in shift vacancies on short notice.)
