About the Role
Medcare Telehealth is hiring part-time Nurse Practitioners to conduct Medicare Annual Wellness Visits (AWVs) via telehealth for patients located in Florida. This is a 100% remote role focused exclusively on preventive care — no problem-based visits, no prescribing pressure, no call.
You control your schedule. Our model works like rideshare for clinicians: you set your own availability each week and log in when you're ready to see patients. Pick up as many or as few visits as fit your life — mornings, evenings, weekends, or in between other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Medicare AWVs via telehealth (video and audio-only)
- Complete health risk assessments, medication reconciliation, and screening reviews
- Develop personalized prevention plans
- Document thoroughly and accurately in our EHR
- Identify care gaps (follow-ups coordinated by our operations team)
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Florida NP (APRN) license
- Enrolled in Medicare (or willing to complete enrollment before start)
- Eligible to participate in federal healthcare programs (not excluded from Medicare/Medicaid)
- Comfortable using EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Strong documentation skills
- Private, HIPAA-compliant workspace with reliable internet
Preferred
- Bilingual: English and Spanish strongly preferred
- Medicare or AWV experience
- Telehealth experience
- Multi-state licensure
