HARDSCAPE PROJECT MANAGER
Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year

POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are currently seeking a talented Hardscape Project Manager with a proven track record of managing people, projects, and production in the landscape construction industry. As a key member of the Stockman Lawnscape team, you will be responsible for overseeing all hardscape construction operations and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, and to the highest quality standards.
This individual will be responsible for managing all residential and commercial hardscape installation crews performing services for our customers on a daily basis. Projects may include:
- Paver patios, walkways, and driveways
- Retaining walls and seating walls
- Outdoor living spaces and kitchens
- Fire pits and fireplaces
- Drainage systems and grading projects
- Boulder walls and natural stone installations
- Steps, landings, and outdoor structures
- Landscape construction and renovation projects
The Hardscape Project Manager is responsible for working closely with crew foremen, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Responsibilities include scheduling labor and equipment, ordering and acquiring materials, monitoring job costs, reviewing daily production reports, managing change orders, ensuring accurate job costing within LMN, and enforcing company quality and safety standards.
The Hardscape Project Manager will regularly visit job sites, conduct quality inspections, provide hands-on support when needed, train crews on proper installation techniques and safety procedures, and ensure all projects meet company and manufacturer specifications.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage all hardscape installation crews and foremen.
- Coordinate project schedules, manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor job budgets, production rates, and profitability.
- Conduct daily and weekly project progress reviews.
- Ensure accurate time tracking, production reporting, and job costing in LMN.
- Communicate with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project changes, client requests, and field challenges.
- Perform quality control inspections and punch list reviews.
- Train and develop crew leaders and field personnel.
- Maintain safety compliance and enforce company policies.
- Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal departments.
- Assist in resolving project issues and maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Support estimating and project handoff processes as needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

- A bachelor's degree in landscape management, construction management, horticulture, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- A minimum of three years of landscape construction or hardscape management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing crews, coordinating multiple projects, and working directly with residential and commercial clients.
- Strong knowledge of hardscape construction methods, materials, and installation procedures.
- Experience with pavers, retaining walls, natural stone, drainage systems, grading, and outdoor living construction.
- Ability to read and interpret landscape plans, construction drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, scheduling, and production management.
- Proficiency with technology, computers, and project management software. Experience with LMN is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
