Parts Associate
The Parts Associate at Northeastern Appliance Service plays a key role in maintaining an organized, accurate, and efficient parts department. This position is responsible for receiving, stocking, organizing, and distributing parts and materials that support our technicians in the field. The Parts Associate helps ensure inventory accuracy, processes incoming and outgoing shipments, assists with returns, and maintains a clean and organized warehouse.
Success in this role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. The Parts Associate works closely with the Parts Supervisor, Technicians, and Customer Service Representatives to ensure the right parts are available at the right time, helping deliver an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
The Parts Associate performs duties associated with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and warehouse organization.
Responsibilities include:
Receive and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.

Stock shelves and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.

Prepare parts and materials for technician pickup and customer orders.

Assist with shipping outgoing parts and preparing packing slips.

Process returns from technicians and customers.

Restock unused and returned inventory into proper warehouse locations.

Assist with manufacturer warranty returns and core returns.

Verify that orders are complete before distribution.

Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories.

Maintain accurate inventory records within the company's inventory management system.

Assist with loading and unloading deliveries.

Help identify low-stock items and communicate replenishment needs.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse and work area.

Follow all company safety policies and inventory control procedures.

Work closely with Technicians and Customer Service Representatives to ensure timely parts availability.

Deliver exceptional internal and external customer service.

Assist with additional warehouse and parts department duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Previous warehouse or parts experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Candidates should:
- Have 1-2 years of warehouse, inventory, parts, or shipping/receiving experience (preferred).
Be detail-oriented and highly organized.
