- Operate vertical CNC milling centers (3- and 4-axis) to machine parts to exact specifications.
- Translate daily production schedules into efficient setups and smooth changeovers.
- Apply routine machine care—lubrication, cleaning, and visual inspections—to ensure uptime.
- Dial in tooling, offsets, and feeds/speeds per CNC programmes to hold tight tolerances.
- Perform in-process and final inspections; verify blueprint and dimensional conformance.
- 3–6 years in a production machine shop (CNC milling emphasis preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings precisely.
- Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, and other precision metrology tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a quality-first mindset.
- Clear spoken and written English; comfortable following technical work instructions.
