Baden Academy, a K-6 arts integrated public charter school is seeking a few new Special Education Aides/Paraprofessionals to join our team!
You could be paired one-on-one with a student, placed in a special-ed or gen-ed classroom, or even rotate through specific grade levels. Wherever you are assigned, you will be providing much needed instructional, behavioral and/or life-skills support because Aides and Paras are vital members of our school's support staff!
The hours of this position are Mon-Fri 9:00am-2:30pm. This is a part-time, non-exempt, hourly position that starts at $15.00/hr.

Monitor and collect data on students’ progression

Provide support for individual students both in and out of the classroom

Assist in the implementation of the Individual Education Plan

Collaborate with both regular education and special education teachers

Perform basic office duties as requested

Utilize applications conducive to the academic program

Attend meetings as requested

Assist with coverage of clerical positions

Mandatory High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Prior Experience with Children

Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Clearance, Mandated Reporter Training (Act 126), and Negative TB test.
Baden Academy Charter School is a K-6, public charter school. All children, Kindergarten through sixth grade, are eligible for enrollment in our school, at no cost to the parents/guardians of enrolled students. BACS offers an arts-infused academic experience at our brick-and-mortar campus in Baden, PA. In addition to typical English/Language Arts, Math, Science, and Social Studies, our students receive weekly instruction, from expert educators, in theater, music, and visual arts. We offer violin instruction, beginning in first grade, and host multiple performances throughout each school year that give children an opportunity to put their newly acquired skills on display for family and friends.
