Qualifications:
Sela Health therapists have master’s degrees in a mental health field such as marriage and family therapy, counseling, or social work.
Associate or fully licensed therapists may apply. No interns at this time, please. We offer in-house supervision, at least 20 annual hours of CE opportunities for all therapists as well, including an annual in-house EMDR training.
We are most interested in therapists who are looking for long-term employment and want a low-stress, high-satisfaction career in outpatient mental health.
Job Responsibilities:
In-person and online mental health counseling with individuals, couples, and families.
Flexible schedule to match your life situation.
Part-time therapists need to see a minimum of 12 weekly clients.
Full-time therapists see 25 or more clients per week.
All therapy sessions, whether in-person or telehealth, happen in our offices. No work from home. To achieve full-time status, you must work up to a full caseload, so the timeline depends on a number of factors including new client demand and your ability to retain clients.

Our therapist employees cannot operate a private practice while working for Sela Health, as that creates a conflict of interest. Certain exceptions for simultaneous work can be made (such as working for a residential treatment facility or hospital), and can be discussed in the interview process. We are most interested in therapists who are ultimately looking to work for our company exclusively. For those who are transitioning from another job as a therapist, we do allow time to work for your previous employer and our company as you work to build up your caseload with Sela Health.
