Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and deliver prompt, friendly service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling regulations at all times.
- Engage with guests in a welcoming manner, providing personalized recommendations and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
- Assist in setting up banquet events or catering services as needed, supporting the overall guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; communicate needs to management proactively.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality roles, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Jonas or Micros POS is essential for order processing.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is required.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for cash handling and retail math tasks.
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly, with an understanding of responsible beverage service practices.
