Outside Sales Representative

Job Summary
Permanent Solutions Plumbing & Drain is seeking a motivated and driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will meet with homeowners to assess their plumbing and drain needs, present tailored solutions, and build trust through clear communication and professionalism. You’ll be supported by a strong operations team, and you’ll earn a base salary plus commissions that reward your performance.
This is not a cold-calling position — all leads are provided. The ideal candidate is someone who thrives on building relationships, can explain technical solutions in a way homeowners understand, and is motivated by both helping customers and achieving financial success.
Responsibilities
- Meet with residential customers to assess plumbing and drain needs.
- Educate customers on service and installation options.
- Present solutions clearly and with integrity, focusing on long-term value.
- Follow up on open estimates and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Coordinate with the install and service teams to ensure smooth project completion.
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals with the support of company-provided leads.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in sales, plumbing, or home services strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build trust and rapport quickly with homeowners.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and reliable.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Willingness to learn technical aspects of plumbing and drain solutions.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $33,280/year (minimum wage equivalent)
- Commission: 7–10% on sales (7% for lead set-up, 10% for straight estimates)
- Non-Stacking Bonuses:
- $100,000/month in sales = 1% bonus
- $150,000/month in sales = 1.5% bonus
- $200,000/month in sales = 2% bonus
