AUS Logistics is hiring FedEx Ground delivery drivers out of our Arlington terminal. We are growing fast and need reliable drivers who want steady work, clear pay, and room to earn more.
Pay
We believe in being upfront about what you will actually earn:
Daily Pay - Details - Training (2 weeks)$150/day Paid training on routes and procedures. Your First Route (day rate)$165/day. Most drivers finish in 4-8 hours. Experienced (day rate) Up to $190/day Based on performance and time with us. Per-Stop Routes (when available)$180-$250+/day @ $1.20/stop, $150/day minimum guarantee.
Day rate drivers typically finish their routes in 4-8 hours and go home with full pay. Per-stop routes open up for drivers who prove they are reliable and efficient. Our top per-stop drivers earn $250-$300/day.
The Work - What to Expect
We are not going to sugarcoat it. This is a physically demanding job and the pay reflects that.
You will be delivering heavy and oversized packages - think furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, and large freight from retailers like Wayfair. This is not an envelope route. You will be lifting items up to 75+ lbs regularly, carrying them up stairs and driveways, and making 125 -165+ stops per day.
If you have worked in moving, warehouse, construction, or landscaping, you already know what this kind of work takes. That experience is exactly what we are looking for - and it is why this job pays more than most delivery positions.
We provide the truck, fuel, scanner, and GPS. You bring the work ethic.
Schedule
Here is how scheduling works - no surprises:
- 5 days per week minimum, including weekends for most routes
- Weekends are part of the job, especially for newer drivers - delivery does not stop on Saturday and Sunday
- Your days off may fall during the week rather than on weekends
- Some Monday-Friday business routes exist but go to experienced drivers as they open up
- 6th day available for drivers who want the extra income - most of our drivers take it because the money is worth it
- During peak season (holidays), 6 days per week may be required
- Day shift - consistent routes in the Arlington area
A driver working 6 days at $165/day is earning $990/week. At $190/day that is $1,140/week. Per-stop drivers working 6 days regularly clear $1,200-$1,500+/week. The schedule is demanding but the pay reflects it.

What We Are Looking For
We want drivers who show up, work hard, and stick around. The right person for this job:
- Has experience in delivery driving, warehouse work, construction, landscaping, moving, or other hands-on physical labor
- Has a stable work history - not jumping jobs every few months
- Is comfortable delivering heavy and oversized items every day
- Is available to work weekends - this is not a Monday through Friday job for new drivers
- Wants a job that pays more than what they are making now, with a clear path to earn more
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a background check
- Must pass a drug test and DOT physical
- Able to lift 75+ lbs repeatedly throughout the day
- Available to work weekends and flexible on days off
- Reliable and on time - this is non-negotiable
How Your Pay Grows Here
We do not promise you top pay on day one. Here is how it actually works:
Once you start on a day rate route at $165/day after training. Show up consistently, deliver accurately, handle the heavy freight without complaints, and take care of your vehicle. As you prove yourself, your rate increases - up to $190/day on day rate routes.
Over time, per-stop routes open up for experienced drivers. These routes pay $1.20 per stop with a $150/day minimum guarantee. Most per-stop drivers earn $180-$250+ per day, and our best drivers regularly hit $250-$300/day depending on volume.
Monday through Friday business routes also become available as you build seniority - but you earn your way there.
