Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinic Nurse to join our Integrative Medicine healthcare team. In this vital role you will provide high-quality patient care, assist with medical procedures, and support the overall functioning of our clinic. Your expertise will help ensure a positive patient experience while maintaining compliance with healthcare standards and regulations. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and health history documentation using electronic health records (EHR) system called Advanced MD.
- Administer medications and injections, including IV infusions, ensuring aseptic technique and proper documentation in medical records.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures such as laboratory specimen collection, phlebotomy, weight loss program follow up, primary care wellness program formation, nutrition education, wellness plan review with patients.
- Support patients through triage process, prioritizing cases and coordinating care for individuals with acute or chronic conditions. Follow patients on the watchlist that are going through recovery, chemo, chronic conditions, or post-op conditions
- Follow up on patient's who have had procedures
- Collaborate with physician and other Vitality team members to develop and implement patient wellness plans.
- Educate patients on health coaching topics including medication management, nutrition, supplements, and long-term wellness.
Skills
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR and patient record management.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques.
- Experience with specialized procedures including blood draws, IV placement, assist physician with hormone pellet placement.
- Skilled in performing venipuncture, IV insertion, sterile processing, and infection control practices.
- Ability to work effectively with obesity, menopause, andropause patient population
- Excellent communication skills for patient assessment, health coaching, case management, and collaborating and educating team in clinical skills.

Pay: $39.00 - $45.00 per hour
