Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC milling machines, including Haas and Mazak equipment, to produce precision-machined components.

Utilize CAD/CAM software (currently GibbsCAM) to create, modify, and optimize CNC machining programs. Training on GibbsCAM will be provided for candidates with experience using other CAD/CAM software.

Edit and adjust CNC programs directly at the machine control to improve machining efficiency and ensure dimensional accuracy.

Read, interpret, and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.

Verify part dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.

Perform machine setups, tooling changes, offsets, and first-article inspections to ensure compliance with design requirements.

Monitor machining operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity.

Identify and troubleshoot machining or equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.

Maintain accurate production and inspection records.

Follow all company quality standards, safety policies, and standard operating procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Work collaboratively with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Must have proficient Desktop Computer skills.

Experience operating CNC milling machines.

Proven ability to independently set up CNC mills from blueprints.

Experience editing and adjusting CNC programs at the machine control.

Proficiency reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications.

Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Education: High School Diploma, College Preferred
