Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg
- Job Type: Per Diem
- 52 weeks contract | Minimum of 2 shifts per month
- Location: Rock Hills, SC
- Facility: Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Rock Hill
- Shift: Days or Nights available
- Hours: 12 hours shift
- Break: 30-minute unpaid meal break
- Pay Rate: $49.50/hour
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, compassionate nursing care to adult Med/Surg patients.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
Requirements
- Active SC RN License (or Compact License)
- Minimum of 1 year recent DIRECT MedSurg experience
- Current BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
