Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Grill Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in grilling meats to perfection, following food safety guidelines, and working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. You will play a key role in preparing high-quality dishes that keep our customers coming back.
Responsibilities:
- Grill meats, vegetables, and other food items to perfection based on company recipes.
- Ensure all food is prepared fresh, following portion and quality control standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized grill station at all times.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe kitchen environment.
- Assist with food prep, including cutting meats and vegetables as needed.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff and follow orders from management.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed during shifts.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by preparing high-quality dishes and maintaining a positive attitude.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Grill Cook or in a similar kitchen role is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant setting.
- Strong understanding of grilling techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 lbs if needed.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
