In this full-time role, you'll make a significant impact by providing dedicated 1:1 behavioral support to a student entering 1st grade. With collaboration and supervision from a skilled BCBA, you'll become a trusted support partner throughout the school year.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions under BCBA direction
- Supporting the student's academic, behavioral, and social goals within the classroom
- Implementing and collecting data on behavior intervention plans
- Communicating regularly with teachers, staff, and families to ensure consistent support
- Assisting with daily classroom routines and adapting strategies to meet evolving needs
To thrive in this position, candidates should possess:
- Active RBT or CBT certification
- Experience working with children in educational or behavioral settings
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and inclusive environment
- Current fingerprint clearance through OSPI, or willingness to obtain one
This role offers a consistent weekday schedule (32.5 hours per week) from August 26, 2026, through June 17, 2027. The position serves as back-fill support, ensuring essential behavioral guidance for a young learner during a formative year.
