About the Role
Coast To Coast Calibrations is seeking a Field Calibration Technician to join our growing Colorado team. This role is ideal for technically inclined individuals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and working directly with customers.
You’ll complete a structured on-the-job training (OJT) program and then transition into a highly autonomous field role, spending 80%+ of your time onsite at customer locations performing calibration services across a variety of industries and disciplines.
This position is well-suited for early career technicians, military veterans, trade school graduates, and career switchers with strong technical aptitudes and a desire to build a long-term technical career.
What You’ll Do
· Perform calibration, verification, and basic troubleshooting of measurement and test equipment at customer sites
· Follow documented procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
· Accurately document calibration results and service activities
· Manage assigned customer accounts with professionalism and ownership
· Communicate clearly with customers regarding scope of work, findings, and next steps
· Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle (issued after training completion)
· Continuously develop technical skills through hands-on experience and ongoing training
Training & Work Environment
· Structured OJT program with experienced Coast To Coast Calibrations technicians and mentors
Post-training travel split:
- ~75% local travel (home daily)
- ~25% overnight travel
· Occasional long-distance air travel may be required
Work environments include:
- Industrial and manufacturing facilities
- Outdoor and variable weather conditions
- Controlled laboratory settings
- Diverse customer sites across multiple industries
Preferred Background & Experience
We encourage applicants from a variety of technical paths, including:
· Electronics, engineering, or mechanical experience
· Mechanical maintenance or industrial maintenance roles
· Military technical MOS experience
· Trade school or technical program graduates
· Calibration, metrology, or quality-related exposure (helpful but not required)
A strong technical foundation and willingness to learn are more important than direct calibration experience.

Physical & Compliance Requirements
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
· Comfortable working on your feet and in active environments
· Willingness to work in industrial, outdoor, laboratory, and varied customer settings
· Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

· Must be authorized to work in the United States
