Job Overview
Meta Tech Industries is a Precision Machine Shop. We do some production work but most of what we do is low volume prototype jobs with very tight tolerances requiring quick turnarounds.
We are seeking an machinist to manage our tool crib and operate CNC machines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the inventory of tools and equipment, ensuring that all items are properly maintained and readily available for production needs. Machinist will also be responsible for running machines on occasion and be receptive to training and feedback from senior machinists. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organized tool crib, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly.
- Conduct regular inspections of tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Assist in the fabrication of tools and components using various machining processes, including lathe and milling machine operations.
- Collaborate with production teams to understand tooling needs for specific projects.
Experience
- Completion of a Machining Training program or a minimum of 1 year of experience in Machining.
- Basic Excel Skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
