About the Role:
Join Caring Companions, LLC as CNA/HHA and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients. Shifts: We offer 3 hour shifts up to 12-hour shifts and everything in between. Weekends and Weekdays. Let us know your availability and we will find you a shift that works with your personal schedule.
Locations: Caring Companions cares for Seniors all throughout CT. We do our best to keep our caregivers within a 25-minute commute from their home to the client's home.
Pay: $19-$20/hour based off experience and assignment
Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure client safety and comfort, as needed.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental well-being.
- Medication Reminders
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and office staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
Requirements:
- Valid CNA or HHA certification preferred, not required.
- Experience in home care or facilities required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable demeanor.
- Availability to work weekends and flexible hours.
- Background check and references required.
