The ideal candidate for this position has past experience in a medical, chiropractic or therapy office; is reliable, dependable, is prompt, is a team player, with excellent communication skills, bilingual a preferred but not required, both on the phone and in person, has the ability to multitask while working in a fast-paced environment, and is polite, professional, patient and compassionate working with patients.
Duties
- Assist physical therapists with patient intake, setup, and post-treatment procedures to ensure efficient therapy sessions
- Support patient transfer methods using proper manual handling techniques to promote safety and comfort
- Prepare treatment areas with necessary equipment and supplies, maintaining cleanliness and organization at all times
- Monitor patients during therapy sessions, providing encouragement and ensuring adherence to prescribed exercises
