We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mammography Technologist to join our inclusive team of dedicated professionals. This individual will independently perform breast imaging procedures and contribute to our shared mission of delivering patient-centered care with respect, empathy, and cultural sensitivity.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced breast imaging examinations in accordance with company protocols and standards of care.
- Ensure a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment for all patients, honoring the unique identities, backgrounds, and needs of the diverse communities we serve.
- Educate patients on breast health, including breast self-examinations, using clear, culturally competent communication.
- Uphold patient dignity, comfort, and confidentiality at all times.
- Perform quality assurance procedures as required, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical standards.
- Conduct Quality Control (QC) checks on the mammography machine at the start of each shift to ensure optimal functionality and image quality.
- *Important Note: A Mammography Tech Assistant will be present to transport and set up the mobile mammography unit. The technologist is responsible for verifying and performing the QC checks before patient exams begin.
- Maintain a second Mammography registry with the ARRT by completing five ECEs annually in Mammography education.
- Demonstrate competency in all applicable systems (CIS, RIS, PACS).
- Support colleagues across work areas as needed, embracing a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Completion of formal Radiologic Technology training from an AMA-approved school.
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and/or licensed as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT).
- Mammography certification required.
- Technologically proficient with the ability to operate advanced imaging systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with compassion, professionalism, and sensitivity in a fast-paced environment.

- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently with a high degree of integrity.
Requirements
- Must be open to travel across multiple imaging sites.
- Minimum of one year of clinical Mammography experience required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to engage effectively with a broad spectrum of individuals including patients, providers, and team members from diverse backgrounds.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
