Minimum Experience 0 - 2 years in Java Development Skills Required Min Education: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Systems or related Description
Roles and responsibilities:
1. Expertise and Strong understanding in building Simple/Intuitive APIs for a very large developer community.
2. Fluent understanding of multiple development languages including Java, Scala and node.js and ability to write clean, eloquent, minimal code in a load-balanced environment to achieve value added business outcomes.
3. Expertise in Object Oriented analysis and design, Classic design patterns and J2EE patterns.
4. Comfortable designing and developing Object Oriented, multi-tier applications in a complex architectural landscape on open source frameworks like Netflix OSS.
5. Experience, interest and adaptability to working in a Waterfall or Lean/Agile delivery environment. Strong preference for SCRUM/XP development expertise.
6. Exceptional collaboration, listening, written and verbal communication skills
7. Successful track record collaborating with product owners, product managers and business subject matter experts to ensure delivered solutions optimally support the achievement of business outcomes.
8. Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
9. Knowledge of standard networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and architectures
10. Strong general troubleshooting and performance tuning considerations
