American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Catheterization Lab position at a Level 3 Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center hospital in Shelby, NC, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and active NC or compact RN license.

Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory unit within a 241-bed, Level 3 Trauma, Certified Chest Pain Center and Stroke Center hospital

12-hour day shifts, 0700–1900, 36 hours per week

Epic EMR; Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell medication dispensing system in use

Holiday coverage expected for 75% of assigned holidays

Active NC or compact RN license required

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required

Minimum 1 year of core Cath Lab RN experience required, with most recent experience within the last year

Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

1 professional reference dated within the past year required, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

First-time travelers will not be considered for this position

Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted

Orientation includes facility-wide NEO plus 2 days of departmental orientation

Former employees of any AHSE facility must have been separated from a permanent position for at least 1 year before being eligible
