American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Long Term Acute Care (LTAC) position requiring strong trach, vent, and drips skills.

Work in the LTAC unit of a long-term acute care hospital setting
-
Patient ratios range from 1:5-6, typical for LTAC facilities
-
Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) work required

Floating required in rotation with staff, in accordance with facility floating policies and clinical experience

Weekend and holiday rotation expected in coordination with staff

Active RN license (Missouri or Compact) required, must be in hand

Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Minimum 2 years of current, strong LTAC experience required

Required skills include trach care, ventilator management, and drip management

Two professional references required for consideration

Provide skilled nursing care in a long-term acute care setting to patients requiring complex medical management

Requests for time off must be approved prior to assignment start and are preferably avoided during initial weeks

Floating orientation provided in compliance with current Joint Commission standards
