Qualifications:
- Active Michigan SLP license required (please include a screenshot of your license with your application).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred.
- Experience in school-based settings, specifically working with PreK and Kindergarten students.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams and families.
- Ability to adapt to onsite and hybrid models (please note, fully remote candidates will not be considered).
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and deliver speech-language therapy to students.
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure effective communication strategies are integrated across learning environments.
- Track student progress and document outcomes in compliance with state and district guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely progress updates to all stakeholders.
- Help shape assignments during the placement process, with caseload details finalized prior to the school year.
This contract offers up to 40 hours per week, providing consistent hours while supporting a balanced schedule. Assignments and placements will be determined prior to the start date, ensuring a smooth transition into the academic year.
