Job Summary:
The PE and Athletics Coach at Odessa Christian School plays a vital role in promoting physical health, teamwork, and Christ-like character in students. This individual is responsible for creating a Christ-centered, encouraging, and structured environment where students can grow in both physical ability and spiritual maturity. Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree (completed)

- Valid Teaching Certificate ($3,000 salary increase with certification)

Essential Responsibilities
Curriculum and Instruction:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate, standards-aligned lessons infused with Christian values
- Use varied instructional methods to reach diverse learning styles
- Regularly assess student learning through formative and summative measures
- Adapt lessons to meet individual learning needs and abilities
Classroom Environment:
- Establish a loving, respectful, and structured classroom that promotes both academic and spiritual growth
- Implement classroom management strategies that align with Christian principles
