Automotive Inventory & Lot Operations Manager

About Us
Leesburg Auto Import is a fast-growing independent dealership with more than 200 vehicles in inventory. We're looking for a motivated, hands-on leader to oversee inventory flow, vehicle reconditioning, merchandising, and daily lot operations. Responsibilities
- Manage all vehicle inventory from arrival through retail sale.
- Maintain accurate vehicle locations, inventory status, and internal tracking.
- Oversee daily lot organization and conduct routine inventory audits.
- Coordinate vehicle reconditioning with mechanics, detailers, body shops, and outside vendors.
- Schedule and supervise drivers for dealer trades, auctions, customer deliveries, vehicle pickups, and DMV runs.
- Ensure every vehicle is cleaned, photographed, priced, and listed online as quickly as possible.
- Track vehicle keys, accessories, title paperwork, and supporting documentation.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure every vehicle is front-line ready.
- Monitor inventory aging and prioritize vehicles for reconditioning and merchandising.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional dealership appearance.
- Assist management with inventory planning and operational improvements.
- Ensure dealership standards for quality, presentation, and efficiency are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of automotive dealership experience.
- Strong understanding of vehicle service, inspections, and reconditioning processes.
- Ability to identify common mechanical and cosmetic issues and coordinate appropriate repairs.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume environment.
- Experience with dealership inventory management systems is preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
