Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all ingredients are handled safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness standards through regular cleaning and sanitizing of kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment
- Support bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and managing dishware to keep the dining area organized
- Safely handle heavy lifting tasks such as moving supplies, ingredients, or equipment following safe lifting practices
- Execute food running and serving duties, ensuring timely delivery of orders to guests while maintaining high-quality service standards
- Operate POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and guest transactions accurately
- Contribute to food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling procedures and maintaining a hygienic workspace
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation techniques, and basic cleaning routines is advantageous
- Strong communication skills are essential for coordinating with team members and providing excellent in-person customer service
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory; training will be available
- Demonstrated commitment to food safety standards and guest satisfaction in previous roles is highly valued
