We are seeking a dynamic and organized Receptionist/Office Manager to join our vibrant dental practice. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming environment while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage patient check-in/check-out processes with professionalism and efficiency.
- Handle phone communication with clarity and courtesy, directing calls appropriately and answering inquiries promptly.
- Manage Dentrix program to ensure accurate documentation review and data entry.
- Verify insurance coverage when necessary, process billing and collections including dental insurance claims, utilizing knowledge of standard dental codes.
- Maintain records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic confidentiality policies, ensuring secure handling of sensitive information.
- Oversee appointment scheduling, and daily administrative tasks to support clinical staff and enhance patient experience.
- Assist with clinical documentation review, dental treatment plan coordination, and demonstrate regular appreciation for the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a medical or dental office setting with strong familiarity of dental computer management systems.
- Knowledge of dental and medical terminology, health information management, and clinical confidentiality policies.
- Demonstrated skills in dental coding and dental billing processes.
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health records management.
- Exceptional customer service skills combined with phone etiquette and front desk experience.
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Communication abilities are highly preferred to serve diverse patient populations effectively.
- Previous clinic or dental office experience is strongly desired along with familiarity in health insurance knowledge and documentation review processes.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36.0 – 40.0 per week
