Capital Area Pediatrics is seeking detail-oriented, dependable individuals to support a records migration project. This temporary, part-time position involves transferring sensitive information from one system to another and plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our records.
The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, able to work independently, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

Accurately transfer records and information between electronic systems following established procedures.

Review and verify transferred data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Perform repetitive data entry tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient, employee, and company information.

Comply with all HIPAA, privacy, confidentiality, and information security requirements.

Identify and report discrepancies, errors, or technical issues to the project supervisor.

Meet productivity and quality expectations while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications

Enrollment in a healthcare related degree program strongly preferred. Recent graduates of approved programs currently completing a gap year are eligible.

Demonstrated reliability with excellent attendance and punctuality.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.

Ability to handle repetitive data entry tasks while maintaining concentration and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and follow detailed written and verbal instructions.

Comfortable working with confidential and sensitive information and exercising sound judgment.

Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate multiple software applications.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Previous data entry, administrative, medical records, or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
