Overview
The Project Line Lead is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing and assembly line dedicated to preparing, assembling, packaging, and shipping retail displays for a major big-box retailer. This role ensures production schedules, quality standards, safety requirements, and customer specifications are met while leading a team of assemblers and production associates to achieve operational excellence.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate daily production activities for retail display assembly projects.
- Supervise, train, and support assembly line employees to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are achieved.
- Monitor production schedules and ensure displays are completed and shipped on time to meet customer deadlines.
- Review project specifications, work instructions, and retailer requirements to ensure compliance.
- Ensure proper assembly, labeling, packaging, and preparation of display units according to customer specifications.
- Identify and resolve production issues, bottlenecks, and quality concerns in a timely manner.
- Perform quality inspections throughout the production process and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, or production environments.
- Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working with retail displays, point-of-purchase (POP) displays, merchandising fixtures, or contract manufacturing is a plus.
- Strong understanding of production workflows, quality control, and safety practices.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, assembly drawings, and project specifications.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
