Responsibilities
- Decorate freshly baked donuts with icing, sprinkles, glazes, and other toppings to create appealing designs and themes
- Ensure all donuts are decorated according to quality standards and presentation guidelines
- Package finished donuts carefully for display or customer purchase, maintaining freshness and appearance
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as icing, filling, and assembling donut varieties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the decorating station, adhering to food safety protocols
- Support food handling and storage procedures to ensure product freshness and safety
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship
Skills
- Proficiency in cake decorating techniques and pastry presentation
- Experience with food production, preparation, and handling in a bakery or culinary setting
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with baking processes
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Excellent customer service skills to engage positively with customers when needed
