Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Toddler Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow. The Lead Toddler Teacher will be responsible for developing age-appropriate lesson plans, fostering social and emotional development, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional growth in preschool-aged children.
- Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Provide individualized attention to each child to support their unique learning needs.
- Monitor children's progress and maintain accurate records of their development.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Facilitate activities that encourage creativity, exploration, and play-based learning.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the classroom.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the educational experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with young children in a daycare or educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Experience in toddler care, infant care, or childcare.
- First aid certification is a plus. Knowledge of TRS (Texas Rising Star).
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with parents and staff.
- A nurturing attitude with a passion for educating young minds.
Ability to create engaging educational activities that cater to various learning styles.
