Medicaid Program Support Specialist: Responsible for supporting the Medicaid Team and Supports Coordinators for Community-Based Long Term Care program serving elderly and disabled adults. This support includes daily monitoring and tracking of Medicaid applications and reviews, plus distribution of reports while maintaining participant excel database. Completing Medicaid reviews with program participants as needed. Enter pertinent information with the state through CHAMPS. Regularly communicating with local MDHHS specialists to identify and remedy problem Medicaid situations and update participant information. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and Word required. Candidate must be self-directed with strong organizational skills, display a keen level of accuracy and be detail oriented. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary. Knowledge of older adult resources, Medicaid and CHAMPS helpful. Candidate must have ability to work from a home office with high speed internet access. Candidate must also be able to commute to the Grand Rapids MI office to pick up supplies and to attend occasional meetings.
This is a Full time 40-hour position, with holidays and weekends off.
