Field Service Maintenance Technician
We are a well-established company seeking a self-motivated Field Service Maintenance Technician to help maintain our restaurant locations in Columbia, SC. This role supports day-to-day restaurant operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing repairs with minimal disruption to service.
Position Details

· Schedule: Day shift; weekends, holidays, and on-call availability as needed
· Travel: Regular travel between company store locations
Key Responsibilities
· Perform mechanical, electrical, troubleshooting, and repair tasks for restaurant equipment and facility systems.
· Assist with planned maintenance and emergency repairs involving décor, cooking equipment, refrigeration equipment, heating and air conditioning, parking lot and lobby areas, and overall store cleanliness and maintenance.
· Complete daily work orders, including preventive maintenance, new equipment installation, and equipment repairs.
· Replace light fixtures and address basic facility maintenance needs.
· Clean HVAC and exhaust units and remove debris from rooftops as needed.
· Maintain exterior grounds and support overall facility appearance.
· Follow all safety procedures and keep work areas clean, organized, and orderly.
Qualifications and Requirements
· High school diploma or GED required; vocational training preferred.
· Valid SC driver’s license
· At least 3 years of repair or maintenance experience; 5 years of mechanical knowledge preferred.
- Strong Refrigeration skills with current EPA license
· Experience with HVAC, mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing, hydraulics, hand tools, and machinery.
· Strong technical and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to follow verbal and electronic instructions accurately.
· Ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods.
· Ability to travel between store locations as needed.
· Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call needs.
· Excellent customer service, communication, and self-management skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
